HiCan someone clarify to myself how you find out what local taxes are due annually on your propoerty.
How you pay for it (if you live overseas)
When its due
When they chase for it
ANy other help.

taxes are due at the start of the year,but you can pay whenever.If you pay after the end of April then a small fine (interest is added) but nothing to get worried about.our company pays these taxes on behalf of owners who cannot get over to Bansko,but if you are in Bansko sometime this year then go to the municipality office and you can pay it yourself,you will need your Bulstat numbers for those named on the title deeds.

Only reason I found out that there was any due was on transferring the ownership of the second property we have bought (5 years ....from building to complete).
ANyway the laywers emailed me stating I owed c300 Levs in local taxes.
Thing is thats the first I have heard about it - I have no invoice etc.
If it is due I have no issue paying and will happily pay online to clear the debt - is that possible? We are going out to Bansko for the 1st 2 weeks in Aug so if we had to do it in ...
