Any snow predicted for Borovets?!?!? Got my lessons booked, but might be sitting in a bar for a week!! :-)

Unfortunately it's even warmer today. Went up to ski this morning, but came home as it's so windy up there that the 4man chair (Yastrebets) has been shut. As per my post yesterday, this was the best place to ski but being shut today has meant everyone is on the Rila Side. It's pretty poor to be fair - lots of brown patches and what is left of the snow is melting fast. There is snow predicted for saturday / sunday, but the bars could be very busy over the next few days!!!re: Any Snow?
Oh no! Hope it gets better for you. We arrive at the weekend, so looks like it will be a week of drinking!!

I live here so it's not as bad as I can ski when I want, but for everyone who's coming for just a week, it's not great. Hopefully the expected snow at the weekend will fall and help the cause! Otherwise, I agree, there will be lots of drinking

27 Dec, you are right, theres plenty of snow here in the uk, we just dont know what to do with it. The resorts in scotland are expected to open most runs tommorow, on a positive note the weather in most of bulgaria is forecast to get colder over the weekend, and there is the prospect of snow for most of the resort areas according to the weather sites anyway. At least if it gets colder they can run the snow cannons again. Good luck to all out there or travelling soon, and hopefully santa ...

Sunday is planned to deliver 10cm of snow!hopefully more!!
