Those ski snow forecats websites are rubbish and you shouldn't rely on them. See Bensons and my post below.

the lack of snow is not just the only problem! it was supposed to snow last night but there does not appear to be any new snow this morning. it would help if they actually used their snow blowers. the quality of the resorts here dispite the current difficult conditions is terrible. ive been to many countries that have sufferred with the lack of snow and have provided better conditions than here. the slopes are not being bashed properly here in bansko and if you love to ski or board over ...

important note bansko is not a beginner friendly place and most of the main blues have sections that are clearly reds. a word of advice if you are bringing your own gear only bring old crapy stuff as its going to get shredded and for all the wrong reasons.

bulgaria is a beautiful country and the people are great but from seeing bansko they have a long way to come with their ski resorts managing them, making them safe. you tend to get the feeling that making money is the focus and may be they gave opened some of the runs far to early hence having so many bolders on top of the snow.

still had a great time though just a nice board repari bill when i get home. advice only come if theres been a good snow dump.

and that big dump of snow is due to arrive arounnd the 21st January and last for a few days at least, which will make ma huge difference and brings the snowpack back to what I have always enjoyed over the years in Bansko. I have never been to bansko in less than perfect conditions. Perhaps that is because, as with any ski resort in the world, if you need to book way in advance to save money then you are best to book no sooner than February when the odds of good conditions are as good as you ...

It's a shame you didn't have the snow this time round. Next time book much later.
