Any one taking kids around 5 years old on 5th march??
We're taking our 5 year old on 5th with us to Pamporovo, getting slightly worried as there are no comments regarding children skiing. I have recently learnt that the ski school only starts from 8 years old. Will we even be able to hire boots and ski's for our son????

Hi Pen,
You will have little problems getting gear for your 5 year old, but ski school may be a problem.
Because skiing is seen as a somewhat dangerous activity, youngsters are particularly at risk of possible injury due to their vunerable age, and as any responsible organisation, the Pamporovo Ski School do not want to risk the possibility of having an infant injured.
If you are competent skiers yourself, I would suggest you teach your son from day one. It will be great fun for you ...

thanks for your comments, he has had 5 lessons at mk snowzone and we do intend to teach him ourselves. Just wanted to make sure that there will be boots and skis for him.
