Could somone in Bansko please tell what is the situation there? Is it really only one slope open? The webcam pictures look nice - when are they planning to open up more pistes?re: Anybody in Bansko now?

I work in Bansko, as a instructor. The number runs has gone up to about 3, the slopes arn't that busy cause a lot of sofians have not come down, there not a shade on last year, worse snow means smaller ques.David

opened -the two t-bars drag lifts one of them is the one on the foto and gondola and thats it.there are going to be alot of people who will go to other resorts because of ovecrowding,ugliness of the town when there is no snow,higher than last year prices, difficulty reaching the resort.The ones that are there now are the appartements owners(counting their losses) and the ones who just booked their holiday very early or without reseach for the snow and general conditions or the ones with ...

We will be coming to Bansko this Saturday. I am still optimistic - looking at all the snow cannons working. Luckily got my first rides in Norway month ago...
