Anybody stayed at the Panorama in Pamp

Just wondering if anyone's stayed or know of the Panormama Hotel in Pampovoro.
Guess it doesn't really matter now, seeing that I've booked it and everthing but I'm a little confused about the location of the ski lift from hotel, when I booked it said 300m away, was just looking at the same site and it now say 1000m way, thats a big difference.
Anybody clarify, and give conditions of hotel generally and of the area??

Came back from Panorama last week. There were only about a dozen guests and we were outnumbered by the staff by 10 to 1.

Hotel is a bus ride from the lift, or you can walk 200m along the access road, turn right down the steps at the side of Castle 1, walk about another 50m and put skis on. It is a 1 minute easy ski down to the bus stop lift from there (if there is still snow).

Hotel is a bus ride from the lift, or you can walk 200m along the access road, turn right down the steps at the side of Castle 1, walk about another 50m and put skis on. It is a 1 minute easy ski down to the bus stop lift from there (if there is still snow).

If you are a complete loony you can walk round the back of the Pearl (opposite) and basically fall down a near-vertical hill for about 100m, bouncing off trees. This will also bring you out at the bus stop chair lift, the quick but painful way.

Hotel is OK, a few pool tables etc and very warm. Food is buffet style, again OK but a bit cold for western tastes I would say.

We were ski-ing in slushy conditions, and as we left bare patches were appearing. Webcams show that it is much worse now, so hope for new snow.

Good luck.

re: Anybody stayed at the Panorama in Pamp

Panorama is 10 min bus ride from ski station 2 where the Pamporovo ski school is located, and the ski station 1 is just 300m from the Panorama. Two different ski depots.
The Panorama is a 10-15 min walk from the resort center, but The Castle have a tavern type pub with a quiz night on a Tuesday, and the Belmont is a short walk away where there is a new bowling alley.

That's really good to know.
There's been some bad reviews, so am a bit wary.
But still looking forward to it.
