TD

we are not camping, I may have bought a tent but dont intend using until I go to brans hatch. We might get a better deal if we book the travelinn as part of a group booking.

I live pretty close & go to Snowdome usually once a week. It's worth contacting them to see if they could lay on something as they do event bookings, birthday parties etc and have 2 or 3 bars plus other rooms which I guess could be hired. I've not been on a Saturday night before so not sure how busy it gets, but as we head out of season, I imagine it will be a lot quieter and they may well be willing to negotiate for a group booking.

Premier Inn is close to Snowdome too and there's a fair few pubs in town although I don't know what they're like. I can make some enquiries this wknd with my sis who lives in town. Will keep you posted.

I'm off to "the dome" in the morning so will see what I can find out about event hire etc as well as checking out local venues with my sis.
Might even get an hour in on the slope if my broken finger looks like it will stand up to it,

re: Anyone Live Near Tamworth?

Yes you have the right place Tufty.
The Snowdome is just up the road, about 0.5 mile away.
