Anyone booked over the net with Balkan for next year yet?

I ask, because their new website booking system has led me a merry dance this week, and still not working!
It lets me book a holiday, go through everything until i click to pay and it comes up "sorry there appears to be nothing to fit your criteria"!
Also wont let me book more than one ski pack!
Anyone managed it ok? perhaps its just me up here in Newcastle!

Hi Ian, I had the same trouble with Balkan two years ago and ended up doing the whole booking over the phone for the internet price, all worked out smoothly in the end, have you tried phoning. Good luck.

I havnt as yet but will probably end up doing it that way later this week i think, out of interest, if i just pay the deposits now, when would the balance be due (normally pay all at once but skint after Canada!)- going January

Ian, I can't remember if I paid just a deposit or the total probably the total as I always book late after checking snow conditions. They were great over the phone.

Varies between companies Ian, anywhere between 8 and 10 weeks before departure probably.

I'm of the opinion I'd rather just pay the deposit and hang on to MY money in MY account until I really have to let it go!!

Well just gone and booked it for next year- had to do it over the telephone as their website was playing up as the woman on the other end of the phone put it!
But
got a very good deal- 1 week 16th January 2011, flying from Newcastle- at the Iglika palace 4 star superior room, half board, one adult and 2 kids- including 3 full ski packs= £1147.77.
Now i can start worrying about the snow (lol)- seriously at that price we will enjoy ourselves no matter what!!

Yeah- just had to wait for confirmation e mail to make sure i had the price correct- they have charged me two adults 1 child (as is allways the case) but i got a free child place so saved around £300
The free child places have just appeared on their website the last few days- be quick to get in there if your interested!
