Stayed at Samokov 3 years ago and just wondered whether anyone knows if there is a ski instructor called Oggy still there. Obviously his real name was something complicated in Bulgarian but he was known to lots of people in the resort.
Going back to the Samakov on 29th and wondered whether he is still there - he was brilliant. He got a total accident prone idiot like me skiing in a week - and he might very well have got a few more grey hairs in the process.
Anyone know if he is still ...

I am going to the samakov on the 29th to, I was at the iglika last year and had a great time but cant remember a instructor called oggy. I quite fancy going for two weeks next year but cant find a travel agent that will do two weeks in borovets, enyone got ideasre: Anyone come back from Samokov recently
"Oggy" is short for Ognyan in BG,from "ogyn",which means FIRE.

I am going to Borovets tomorrow and my instructor is called Oleg.Very similar.

Robbo, Balkan do 2 weeks.sharon, I do believe there was an instructor at the Samokov called Oggy a week ago when i was there.
