Hello to everyone in Grassi's group (I think he's actually called Krassi reading previous reports on this site) from 5 - 12 Feb. All I've done since I got back is washing, washing and more washing - took far too many clothes. Can't say enough about Borovets and what a fab. week we had. Thanks to everyone in the group - Tracy and Alan, Ellie and Oliver, Eric (Derek) and James, Greg (Craig) and Bryan (Ryan), Samantha and her tree! and Andrea (Angelina Ballerina), for helping to make the holiday such fun - anyone seen the piece of cheese wearing dark glasses!

For the people who weren't in our group, we stayed at the Iglika Palace. The rooms were exceptionally hot (so no need for bedsocks), the drinks were cheap, the food was very edible, the rooms were clean and there was an interesting arrangement going on in the bathroom (you could sit on the loo, brush your teeth and have a shower all at the same time!). And to the person who asked about the bar area with the wooden chairs - yes it's still there with a leaking roof so there was a bucket in the middle of the floor for a couple of days catching the drips!

Krassi was a brilliant instructor - v. patient, always helpful (picking us up and carrying skis), v.keen on hot chocolate/chicken burgers, eating inside and apres ski!

Tracy - we want to wish you a very happy f**tieth birthday - have a brill time and a glass of red wine or two or three or four - or maybe just a few bottles! If we find those missing skis, we'll forward them on - hope you managed to claim OK.

Don't want to recommend the place too much in case there aren't any places left for us on next year's flight. We'll be back - booking soon.

I can't stop smiling and looking at all the photos I took , but guess what I accidentally deleated the first 40 photos. Good job I took plenty!!!
What a great time we all had watching that DVD made us realise that we were truly professional skiers we really were !
Pauline I am also still up to my ears in washing everything smells of woodsmoke.
We have had a Quote to go back next year, but have not yet booked, its a bit more expensive than this year, but Ive told Big Al to pull his finger out and sell a few more bangers!!
Anyone eaten any chicken burgers since returning home ? no I thought not.
As for the missing skis well the still havent shown up -SO a word of warning for all of you about to decend on Boro watch your Skis Its quite costly if they get stolen, and THEY DO!!

Ellie said this morning she was going to E. mail Jenna when she came homefrom school ,so look out!!

Tracy - Maybe that's what the cheese was doing under cover - trying to solve the mystery of the missing skis. Maybe it'll work out cheaper next year if we go disguised as cheese!!!! Just had a really tough day at work and coming home to read your message made me smile again. Can't stop telling people how fab. it was - recommended it to all our mates. Sorry about your piccies - will try and send some of ours later today - if we can master the technology! Have a great birthday. Bye for now.

Hi , we were actually in the restruant on the top of the four man chair lift (dont know its name), we were the only group in there and had just hitched a ride on the snowplow, and were told by our instructor to leave them all in the back untill we came out - he said they would be fine!!!

The people in the ski depo were non too pleased, and wouldn't let us out without paying 480 lev It was a good job it didnt happen at the beginning of the week as we would the be into hireing some more- the skis that went missing were kids ones and looked very old!! Not 480 lev worth

Still we wont be leaving them outside again
