we staying at bor or eidelweis . me , wifey . 18 year old son and his 19 year old friend, 27 year old son and his gielfriend . . .have heard good reports on rila but only stayed there many years ago . . it has a nice pool and is opposte the slopes. . .is it your first time in borovets
this is our first winter hols. the boys & wifey always wanted do this & i was out voted this year. looking forward to it though now the time has come. will probably see you out & about apres ski ( sounds like i know what i'm talking about ) any good bars to recommend?
Hi, sorry had to go and cook dinner!!!!! Yes, we are going on Saturday 17th, staying at the Melina with our friends, who will be using the Creche. We went last year and stayed at the Rila, so have picked up some tips from last year. If I can help in any way, I am back on line until bed time for the boys!!!!
lots of good bars. . .black tiger. buz bar. .but depends on how old yourlads are. .. borovets is a top place. . you will love it. . .have to remember its bulgaria and not france or austria. . .but who wants to pay those prices . . especially with a family. . .some great eating places . . .mamacetas, francos have great pizzas. . .also best food in borovets. . .sunnys bar. . .next to ella hotel... .lovely food, lovely people. . .
Just William, I am relaxed.......but couldn't resist once more!!!! DPH, try and avoid 8am for breakfast, peak time, all fighting to get a table in your ski gear, it's an experience, however the wine is cheap and fab!!! Plus the Gluvein (mulled wine) and the brandy chocolate are what you need on the slopes (to keep warm of course!) Yvette
had rain in the resort today with a little bit of snow, but has been snowing most of the day up top.
Thursday is looking good for a day skiing.My hubby will be going up on Thursday for the day.

Hi DPH, after 2 glasses of wine, read quickly 'out of shower, what time for breakfast!!!!! (had to read it a few times, made me chuckle!!). We found about 8.20 a good time. It opened at 8.00 last year and they started queuing down the stairs at around 7.50am. Just have to try and suss it out, could be different this year. May be try breakfast later if your lessons start at 10.00 as you only have to cross the slopes to ski school!! Also in the evenings, if you sit on the same table or ...
