Anyone just back from boro who could maybe give us some feedback as to the snow situation?
I'm not a negative person but i am becoming a little concearned. We are heading out on Saturday (and we were there at the same time last year and the snow was great).
Given the higher temps, and the snow due for Friday, I still dont think that even 20 cm will be enough to provide adequate cover at the lower level?? I know the top of the gondola will be good but the reliability of its operation ...

glad you posted that message i am also really concerned its starting to make me feel crappy. Spoke to my friend who lives out there and he said that the snow at the top is gr8 and lower slopes are ok but will need some snow.re: Anyone just back???

Not much anyone can say really lol! But look how much snow they've had at the Winter Olympics recently - big dumps can, and DO happen!re: Anyone just back???

i coulndt hear him too well the signal was really bad but he said the snow is good esp at the top of mountain it was 4 degrees when i spoke to him this morn. He said dont worry all will be ok.Lets all try not to worry what ever happens will happen

As i have said before all this worrying is not going to bring us a blizzard guys its just causing doom and gloom amongst people on this site, come on guys all will be ok, somebody i know out there in Boro told me today that we are going to get snow on thursday, friday, saturday and possibly sunday just in time for our arrivals....Please dont point out the obvious that ski hols are booked for us to ski on snow, we already know this, but look on the bright side the holiday will be as good as ...
As i have said before all this worrying is not going to bring us a blizzard guys its just causing doom and gloom amongst people on this site, come on guys all will be ok, somebody i know out there in Boro told me today that we are going to get snow on thursday, friday, saturday and possibly sunday just in time for our arrivals....Please dont point out the obvious that ski hols are booked for us to ski on snow, we already know this, but look on the bright side the holiday will be as good as you make it, and with great company i am sure we will all pull through...see you all there on evening of the 26th

We had no snow for the wholes week but still had a great time. Some of the runs lower down get a bit icy but once the piste mashers get out there towards the top there is no real problem.In fact the weather was so warm some of our party were skiing in T-shirts.
A covering a fresh powder would have been nice but not the be all and end all
