Just this minute stepped through the door, from my hol in Borovets. Bit tired because of the delay, but can fill you in when I get up later on today.

There were only three problems with the skiing and Boarding in Borovets, firstly the lack of snow in the week, only snowed once, so towards the end of the week it was rather icy, and the grass was starting to show through in the lower slopes.
We took the gondola to the top slopes on three occasions to find that we could only ski once on the slopes there as the weather changed so fast they closed the lifts, thus leaving a queue for the gondola back down for approx 1½ hours.

The boarders didn't get the best treatment from the lifts, which I found to be rather unfair, as at the end of the day they have paid the same monies to use the slopes. If you are a boarder stand your ground!!
Apart from the above we have had a fantastic week, in a very pretty town, the people are extremely friendly, the ski school instructor we had was the best, he even tollerated me and my bad skiing for a whole week without loosing his temper, the beer and food prices were excellent, recommend Katys if you enjoy a good steak.
Hope you have as good a time as us, I will be contacing our tour operator shortly for next year. But perhaps a bit further into the season.
