What should a cool apres ski (we call it afterski) be like? Here in norway we go straight from the pistes to afterski. We party in our ski gear and theres normally a guitar player singing sing-along songs. You can dance on the table if you like and its pretty crazy. What do YOU think it should be like?
Norweigan Apres-ski sounds pretty cool mate, but I never party in my ski gear, it would be boiling. Nah, quick change, quick lunch, then a small pub crawl, say 3 bars then settle in the fourth and hit the - Yegabombs especially
Our afterski often starts after lunch up a mountain. A cool apre ski is when you get up in the morning and find you still have all your skis, gloves, helmet etc
I've had to revise my apres ski plans in Bansko. Mehana's seem to have a good atmosphere around 10, and the clubs don't tend to open till 1am, and get busy around 2-3 am. People tend to leave after 5/6. Now I don't know if all the Bulgarians/Greeks are just ultra hardcore or what - but there's no way I can get by drinking till 5 then up at 8 for a full day on the slopes more than a couple of times in a row. Maybe I'm just getting old!
So we finish on the slopes around 5, stop off at a bar ...

So we finish on the slopes around 5, stop off at a bar on the way back for a cheeky pint or 2. Get back, sleep for 3 hours or so, head out for a meal about 9.30. Rakia after meal, then hit the bars/clubs about 1. That way you still get a reasonable amount of sleep!
