Are Balkan Bristol flights reliable

Hi, with all the talk on this forum of Balkan changing flights, does anyone know if the Bristol flights are reliable, I have heard the Cardiff flight gets moved to Birmingham, which defeats the object of flying from local airport.

Reliable as in will the plane not crash? Joking aside I would wait and see as Balkan have this nasty habit of upsetting people by changing flights.

Thanks, we went with Balkan, Cardiff staying at kempinski Bansko last year, no problems at all. We want to return this March but can't find any other tour operators from local airports and with Balkan prices, we have to get a taxi to the airport so it gets crazy prices if flights get transfered further afield.

If they do not sell enough seats then they will move the flight.

Have flown from Bristol in March 05, 06 & 07. Only problem was a 1hr delay in 05. Hoping for problem-free again on 8th March. Counting down the days

We flew with Balkan last year, on the dodgiest plane ever.. they put a diversion on the flight so that the Cardiff plane picked up in BHX, and on the return, to make it fair, Cardiff got dropped of first.

I believe that "conditions of carriage" just means that they have to get you there within 24hrs of when you booked. It doesn't have to confirm how, where from / to.

It's only a little part of your holiday.... Smile, be happy.

Many thanks, there is hope that Balkan flights work out of Bristol. Just returned from Bristol/Innsbruck with an 8 hour delay on the out going flight on Lauda, pays your money and still long delays

Bristol will operate until the end of the winter charter programme.

Balkan Holidays do not operate a charter out of Cardiff,

Only Bristol, East Midlands and Gatwick on a Saturday

Humberside/Manchester and Edinburgh/Newcastle on a Sunday
