Hi we cant prebook lift passes with our tour operator for children 7 and under. I have read older posts that children 7 and under get lift passes for free (as long as they are with an adult). IS THIS CORRECT?
Does the child need to be present with the adult when purchasing the free lift pass and does any proof of age need to be shown?
re: Are lift passes in borovet for 7 and under free?
oh ok ... so the ski package that i bought through hunters for my 7 year old, which included lift pass, should be cheaper then than the same package for her 9 year old sister. hmm... funny they didn't mention that!
re: Are lift passes in borovet for 7 and under free?
Hi,
I have had a reply from Borosports advising the following:
"Children of age 5.99 years and under use the lift facilities in Borovets free, they don’t need a lift pass. Children who are 6 years have to be with lift pass. The price for 6 days lift pass for children is 161 BGN"
So they are basically telling me that children aged 5 and under are free.
However, First Choice, Crystal are advising the following:

It is so annyoing when you get given different information!
I will just have to wait and see on arrival in resort.
re: Are lift passes in borovet for 7 and under free?
Hi Kaz
Hope your all ok in snowy Boro. We now have snow in Lowestoft, not alot but enough to dig out my snow boots. Glad I didn't put them away as soon as we got back home. Kim is re-searching for March 2013, we are bringing a load of people with us, they all want to come after we told them about Bobby's Bar & The White House, Lock ins, BBB's and chili shots!!
Heidi/Bikers/Bladers.
P.S. Going back to ski's next year, too old for blades!!
re: Are lift passes in borovet for 7 and under free?
Hi H,
I have actually got my new snow boots on at work today. Thought I would test them out before next year!
I gave Kev and Connie the prices/details and they are basically ready to book. Kev said Helen, Matt and the kids are 90% coming! We just need to decide which date (2nd or 9th March). Kev and Connie have mentioned the 9th March as it is cheaper. Who knows what the snow will be like between these two dates...... decisions, decisions!!
re: Are lift passes in borovet for 7 and under free?
Hi Kim,
Have replied to your email, but just in case...Basically children up to 7 years of age are free on the lifts.
But ski school packs packs for children up to 7 years old (6.99years) include lift pass as this covers the mountain insurance. If children don't ski in a ski school, parents may not choose to buy a pass, but it will be their responsibility as no mountain insurance will be included and they will need to sort separately.
