Arrival days

Hi All, I'm about to book my January trip to Bansko. We'll be flying from Heathrow and have the choice of a saturday or a sunday flight. Is one day better to arrive on than the other? Any advise gratefully received! Cheers, Spinky Very Happy

Better Sunday I reckon as many locals ski there at weekends and your first 2 days could be pretty packed if you arrive on the Sat.

Yeah I guess it will Bob, but I'd rather start the week off with a quiet days skiing rather than fighting for the gondola from the start!

I agree. Also if you are hiring any of your stiff you dont see the queues on a monday that you do on a Sunday

Yes but by then you will have got your rental gear and you ski legs so you will not need to hang around at the bottom.
