Atomic Smokes for hire in Boro

After PP's glowing recommendation for these skis I really want to try a pair. Does anyone know if any of the hire shops in Boro have them? I will be using Hunters but would happily try somewhere else for a day.

I would say I am an upper intermediate/lower advanced - happy on piste, off piste where it is open and in powder so having read the reviews these seem like a really good option.

The Atomic BlackEye are well worth a look as well, slightly wider waist than the Smokes so better for the heavier gents out there (like myself).
I was looking at these but ended up going for some K2 Rictors in the end, awesome set of ski's.

I agree Jimmy - BlackEye's are something I often get when skiing Cool

Seriously though - the BlackEye model is a superb ski (as are the K2's.)

Don't tempt me PP - I will be back in Filarinskis to sort Sophie's boots and that's a luxury purchase for us this year. I cannot even thing of buying skis. My last pair (Vipers) just gathered dust. Hiring will be fine. Honest. No I mean it...

Keep your eye out on ebay, i was watching some elan wavefex skies for £329, ended up some one put a new pair on for AuCtion got them for £170. I think its a bargain. I will find out after the 4th of March when i hit borovets.See you there.

Good idea heaps but I really don't have a problem hiring skis. Now the kids are learning we are planning to go every year but they still need storage, carriage etc. Ski technology is always improving as well.

If I can't get hold of some Smokes to try, are there any others that I should see if I can hire? I am 5'11 (with hair!), 12.5st and a reasonable skier.

Where else is good to try and hire good skis for a morning or day in Boro - assuming I don't end up doing some boarding as well.
