The ski-runs at the Banderishka Polyana ski center (Bansko resort) are closed, because of high avalanche hazard. The gondola lifts and the ski-drags in the area are closed, sources from the Yulen firm, which is the concessionaire of the ski center, reported.
The pubs and restaurants in the region are also closed. The snow cover in the winter resort reached about 3 m. There is a higher risk of avalanches, because of the fresh snow and the expected warm spell at the end of the week. The ...

There are good conditions for skiing there and the facilities are working.

there was a high risk on my last day (sat just gone) our instructor told us that the area had had a record level of snow, one of the highest the Balkan range had seen.re: Avalanches Closed Ski-runs and Pubs
I think banderishka polyana is not running for this season, i was there twoweeks ago.
