BALKAN - cancelled flight manchester 19/12/11

i was absolutly fuming today to receive a letter from Balkan moving my flight to east midlands 120 miles away from home and changing dates to 2 days earlier when i had specifically booked to be in Borovets from Xmas day, and their very generous complensation offer ...........£20, it wouldnt of even covered the airport parking. reason stated for cancellation - supplier demand ! the very rude lady told me on phone only 6 people had booked on flight !

any way the very nice people at Inghams and thomson have sorted me out so now flying 24th from Manchester, i just hope this one doesnt get cancelled. all very embarrassing for me as i had recommended Borovets and Balkan to my friend who's coming with me.....lets hope thats the last hitch. feel beeter now i've got it off my chest !

Hmmmm......tour ops sometimes share the same flights. Hope this flight wasn't the same times as the Balkan flights or it may be the same plane you would have been taking. Had this happen to me a few years ago.Inghams do have some great xmas offers at the minute so hopefully people will book and this will not be a problem.
