Hello.
I've been in Bansko last week.
To get the Gondola you first have to pass from the counters!!!
First day I don't know why, it was so crowded it took us 20 minutes to get a pass!! The other days it took us only a couple of minutes.
Then you have to get to the lane for the Gondola! 2 to 10 minutes maximum.
Once you get inside it tooks 20 good minutes to get to the top station.

Because the ski route to the village was closed due to the lack of snow everyone was going back with the Gondola. After 15.00 is getting awfully crowded. 15 minutes the soonest, 50 minutes if you're not lucky. Close to 16.00 when the lifts starts closing the crowd is great. If the snow will be enough you can try either going all the way down to the village which is fun or you can try getting to the middle station and get yourself in one of the spare seats in the gondolas are coming down.
If you want to get packed in the line like us (!!) try the right side of it, it's going faster!

Although going with the Gondola was a trip, the resort is excellent in skiing conditions, slopes, bars and food.
Enjoy your time

Andreas

re: BANSKO GONDOLA

Have to totally agree with Andreas! Came back from Bansko only last sunday and it was very busy. Great skiing, weather was excellent and the Russians were pig ignorant!!!!! Anyway, hope you are in the clear about that.
