Met the man who is the legend known as Benn, he wasn't a disappointment.
It won't surprise anyone that he landed in at a rainy Sophia and his stress levels rose immediately as he couldn't see any snow. That situation gradually deteriorated as the airport terminal and transfer coach were also snow free. The journey in the coach did little to calm his growing histerior, by the time he reached Boro he was all for telling the driver to take him back!

Fortunately there is snow on the ground in Boro and he was prepared to get of the coach and book in. Having settled into his room he made the short walk to the nearest cashpoint, only to be "greeted" by a local who asked him for his shoes!!! It now seems that this request was actually a polite offence of robbery, Benn declined to give his shoes away and the ensuing conversation was broken up by stranger who suggested Benn returned to the safety of his hotel.

I think that this possible "polite robbery" was actually an encounter with a BG snow angel. 

The following morning Benn put on those boots he had posted about, the ones which hurt his toes even in his lounge when he bent his knees! He boarded in immense pain all day and came of the slopes, crippled with black toes.

He tells me he is contemplating two options for day 2:

A- hiring boots the right size.
B- removing the big toes of both his feet.

Does anybody have a leatherman or swiss army knife?

Ps. I'm not sure he looks like Richard Ashcroft - however he drinks like Peggy Ashcroft!!!!
