I want to resurrect a thread that I found more interesting than the usual "you'll love it!" and "the beer's cheap!" threads. It got burried a few pages back and it was about the DON'T's rather than the DO's (when it comes to ski instructors in particular, but other stories can be included as well

Sometimes a holiday can be ruined by one bad experience. It would be useful if people share their niggles or beware stories, so we don't all make the same mistakes.
