Does anyone know where the nearest superstore to Bansko is?
We had a lot of things stored in the basement at our apartment and it was all destroyed in the flood. So we want things like plates, cutlery, pots and pans, glasses, a broom - general household-y type stuff.

Hey Guys,
Does anyone know where the nearest superstore to Bansko is?
We had a lot of things stored in the basement at our apartment and it was all destroyed in the flood. So we want things like plates, cutlery, pots and pans, glasses, a broom - general household-y type stuff.
We'll have a car so can travel. Does anyone have any ideas? Anything in Blagoevgrad? I don't know what the options are in Bulgaria - is there anything along the lines of Ikea or even like a big Tesco with a household department?
There is a Metro in Blagoevgrad that will have all your household needs and its on the right hand side of the main road as you travel to Bansko from Sofia, you can't miss it.
You could also try Kaufland in Blagoevgrad, occasional bargains on plates and things... As you drive into Blagoevgrad from the Bansko side, past the KAT station, and around the bend, its on your right...
I know there's a Metro in Sofia and possibly an Ikea now (not 100% on that one). There's definitely a Mr Bricolage in Blagoevgrad. I think it's a bit like a small B&Q.
There is a Lidl in Razlog.
Basically if you exit Bansko past the supermarket in bansko you go on a straight road which then turns left on that corner turn right then just go straight into razlog. It's on the left hand side beside the vast balconstroy building
It's leagues better than the bansko supermarket. And they do the exact same sort of things as the uk lidl. Plates etc all there.
