BIT OF BORO BOARDING ADVICE

hi all
we are going out to boro 14th jan(1st time to bulgaria) & have a slightly less experienced boarder among us that would like to avoid some of the less boarder friendly areas ie dirty great big long flat bits.not worried about blacks & faceplant territory, just don`t want too much walkin if at all avoidable.any info on big walking areas would be great.
also we are staying at hotel Bor(we`re more slope pikey than aspen aristocracy)roughly how much of a hike is it to the lifts?the skier ...

re: BIT OF BORO BOARDING ADVICE

from the red yastrabetz runs back down to the gondola theres a considerable bit of flat, and wouldn't recomend the musala pathway or the royal residence ski way for a snowboarder, flat sections and a bit uphill...

Other than what Dean has mentioned all other parts/slopes are fine. You mentioned face plants hope the boarder wears a gum shield, seen this happen fellas top teeth came through bottom lip. Gum shields recommended.
Bor fair hike up in the mornings half to three quarters of a mile, daughter & hubby stayed there 2 years ago. Pikey an overstatement.

re: BIT OF BORO BOARDING ADVICE

Yastrabetz runs are on the right side of the map, and i reccomend doing them, just keep using the yastrebetz chair lift to keep doing them then only go back down to the gondola when you're done, as there is a lot of flat like I said, but worth it Smile

Go see Kas & bobby in bobbys bar when you get there. Bobby is a board instructor and so will be able to tell you the bits to avoid.
