Great news PP - That's fantastic that you and Ang are going in March. Unfortunately I now can't go this year. My car broke down just before Xmas and I got a bill for £914 on Xmas EVE!!!! Cam belt snapped and wrecked the head cylinder, valves, guides, the feckin' lot! So that's blown my skiing budget for 2009! BAH and bloody double BAH! Maybe if the snow's good in March, I may take the plunge and sod it! There's always plastic.Snowtox xxx

Hi snowtoxExactly same thing happened to me in October! Then i paid £850 to have it all fixed then a couple of weeks later someone vandalised the car putting paint stripper all oiver it - insurance sai £4000 to have it respraid! wrote it off- got a runaround and spent the rest going skiing!
lifes too short and all that!

You ar right Ian. Life is too short. I might just get there yet with a bit of wheeling and dealing on who to pay, who not to pay, who I can get away without paying for a bit longer!!!Snowtox xxx

lol my clutch was going on my golf so i got a new car but sod it im still having 2 ski holidays just gore: BOO HOO - Can't go now!
ya right there ian w.... we got a nice car .. but run about in our banger of the last 8 years ....

Rie that's no excuse! Am I not worth the cost of a banger anymore 
My advice is not to throw good money after bad. It sound as if your car may be on it's last legs anyway, and maybe time to replace it all together. Having been in the motor trade for 30 years I can easily find you a cheap car if you need me to. With such low rate finance available at the moment I'm sure I can sort something out for you quickly.
Gimme a ring and we'll talk it through.
And then go book that holiday ...
My advice is not to throw good money after bad. It sound as if your car may be on it's last legs anyway, and maybe time to replace it all together. Having been in the motor trade for 30 years I can easily find you a cheap car if you need me to. With such low rate finance available at the moment I'm sure I can sort something out for you quickly.
