Morning All,
Finally a bit of good news for you all... snow cannons on Rila & Yastrebets all night and still on now...
Also it snowed last night...around 5cm down here in Borovets. We think it's anout the same up top, but will check that at 8.30 when we make a phone call.
They said yesterday that they still weren't planning on opening, but who knows? Again we will let you know about this in an hour or so...

p.s. friends who couldn't make it to our wedding arrived yesterday ...

Cannons stil on but no lifts open. Beginners are on the nursery slopes but are walking up. Intermediates / advanced are doing 'summer activities' with their ski schools - eg: walking etc so as not to have any complaints... I know Bobby is an instructor and don't want to appear biased, but do feel sorry for them as it's totally out of their hands and it's them the tourists are getting angry with....which I can totally understand as there is plenty of snow on Yastrebets 2 to ski it...

Kas, glad to see you guys have got some snow. Long may it last. Need a few more nights of good snow and low temps. Not out at Xmas this year for first time in about 8 years - was getting concerned about runs open when we were there. Hopefully our absence will mean you guys get lots of snow - ironic!Good luck with the bar guys, you work hard and deserve it!
