BORO CONDITIONS - 16th FEB

Morning All,

Slowly, slowly, conditions are improving. It snowed for several hours yesterday, but very fine snow (looked more like ash from a fire).

It is snowing today (as per forecasts) but once again still very fine, however it's a step in the right direction!! There has been about 4cm over the last 2 days. Local forecasts so far are correct, so hopefully they will remain so as there is more snow forecast for tonight - again only 1 or 2 cm which won't be enough to open any moe runs ...

Local forecasts so far are correct, so hopefully they will remain so as there is more snow forecast for tonight - again only 1 or 2 cm which won't be enough to open any moe runs, but heavy snow on Friday / Saturday.

In terms of the runs:

Harimia opened up again yesterday (was closed on Monday) but it is still abit rocky / bare in places, although better than last week.

Yastrebets 2 and 3 are in excellent condition, as is Marky 1 and the Suhar.

On the Rila side, there is less ice and again, conditions are good, although the Royal express way, all Sitnyakovo runs (excet Sitnyakovo Blue) and blacks are still closed.

Let me know if you need more info!

Kas

re: BORO CONDITIONS - 16th FEB

Justine - just read your post, but as above there wasn't much, but don't panic, this is the first time all season that all local reports (radio & tv) are saying the same thing re: heavy snow at the weekend.
