Morning All,
At the moment conditions are still pretty poor, but the cannons were on last night both on the Rila slopes and yastrebets slopes which has helped.
When we came up on the gondola at 8, it was snowing at the top and it still snowing now, although very lightly - there is also quite a bit of wind. Heavier snow is forecast for tonight and tomorrow, so hopefully it will come to fruition.
In terms of the runs, Marky 1 is ok, but there are some bare patches / rocks towards the bottom and definitely needs some snow sometime soon.
Harima is open again today (was closed yesterday) but is still very bare and has a lot of patches / rocks on the way down, so people still need to take care, especially with their own ski's. Yastrebets 1 (been closed for a couple of days) has also re-opened today and all 3 yastrebets runs are skiing very well.
The Rila side was good first thing (with snow from the cannons) but, most of the Sitnyakovo runs are closed apart from the Sitnyakovo Blue (at top of the 4 man chair).
Will keep you posted on the snow situation!
Kas
p.s. following a heavy weekend, had a very quiet forum meet last night - I drove, but Bobby drank more than enough on my behalf!
