Morning All,
Finally some good news! Yesterday's snow continued and it is still snowing now. Still need quite a bit more, but it's a good start!
Up the top there is around 20cm of fresh snow. They still haven't opened Marky 2, 3 or the Fon Fon, but have said they will do if the snow continues - will have to wait and see on that one. Marky 1, Suhar and the 3 Yastrebets runs all have a lot of snow, but they haven't pisted it, so you may think it is ideal BUT the snow isn't like powder, ...

Yastrebets cannons are also still on.
Down on the Rila side, there is just as much snow and for the first time this season, the Sitnyakovo Express (7km blue) is open which is great for beginners that have been running out of places to ski! Also open are the Rila reds and the Rila blue, along with the Sitnyakovo Blue.
There is still quite a lot of mist around, although there is more down the bottom than at the top.
I will keep you posted as the day goes on!

Hey kas great news, wish sunday would hurry up. My youngest charlie is so excited. is the mussala pathway open or will it need much more snow?

Good to see the Sitnyakovo Express open ..Shame it wasn't 6 weeks ago.I think i'll avoid half term week though it looks manic on the Webcams

Thanks Kas,Your reports are by far the best way of keeping up with what's going on. The sinoptik.bg site is great for the weather, the webcams useful to see what things look like but it's only these reports that say it like it actually is on the ground.

Hi Heapster,It's not open yet (Mussala pathway) but if the snow continues over the next couple of days (as predicted) then it should open....fingers and everything else crossed!!
