Morning All,
Finally good news for everyone currently out here...today at the top is beautiful blue skies, all runs have been pisted and markudjik runs are open. I am at the bottom, but Bobby has just called to say the marky runs are in better condition than they have been for at least 5 years...
Yastrebets and Rila runs remain the same - once again in excellent condition, with everything in perfect condition, It is still cold, slight wind at the top, but nothing as extreme as ...

Lock-In tonight, so watch out on the webcams from around 4.45 onwards - there are about 20 of them (high-intermediate / advanced - boarders and skiers) so they are doing the Yastrebets side rather than Mussala.

Sounds good Kas but I wouldn't put the shovel away just yet.Eagerly waiting Mark's next snow prediction as the report that I am looking at suggests that this weekends dump will be dwarfed by what's coming middle of next week

You are right, keep the shovel out !!Very complicated weather at the moment and just as I go to post a forecast, I get the next set of data (only 6 hours apart) and it is completely different.
So be patient peeps. This weekend snow and as for next week...thats the hard part but im working on it !!

Mark, whats the forecast for the weekend - I have flights booked out tomorrow and back late Sun night - but concerned the snow will be bad Sun and won't get home Sun night as must be back in UK Mon am - so am considering delaying a couple of weeks - also driving from Sofia to Boro.So whats your forecast - is it worth going or delaying??

Blimey, dont put me on the spot lol.I get an update at 1200 and 1800hrs, so I will wait until the 1800hrs and reply. Its looking like snow Friday night until Sunday morning or so, its just the amount that number crunchers and not decided upon. Sunday evening it is likely to snow again for a few days but again, let me see what 1800hrs brings !
