BORO UPDATE - 21ST DEC

Morning,

Woke up to blue skies and sun this morning, but still -8 at 5am and -4 in the resort now...

Rotata and Rila are open and due to snow fall last night, they have also opened Sitnyakovo (nursery slope at top of the Sitnyakovo 4 man chair).

No snow expected today until late tonight, but it is expected tomoz / friday - perhaps Mark IOW can elaborate on this....!

Will keep you posted....

Sorry - should have said that the runs a bit icy at the moment (been tested by the operators) but should improve later on!

Hey up,

yes snow during Wed night to Friday morn and very cold. Im placing money on a bit of snow on Christmas day too !

Next week, it is a little far off to be accurate but it is looking like it is going to warm up again for 2 or 3 days which is not ideal. Temperatures at resort level could be high as 7 or 8c. This is a little way off, so I will do a forcast nearer the weekend.
