BORO UPDATE - 22ND FEB

Morning Everyone!
Still pretty high temps here and although it snowed for a bit yesterday was not enough to make much difference.
The wind has dropped though, so the gondola is open to the top and they have also fixed the Sitnyakovo Express meaning that everything is open, but snow is needed desperately - it's like a different place compared to last week when the snow was perfect!
So, all runs are open but it is very icy everywhere and beginners are struggling quite a bit... There ...

Hi Kas,No chance of rocks and greenery showing through is there? Coming out on Wednesday and just want to make sure there is some snow...even if it is a touch icy.

HiThere is a bit showing through I'm afraid - mainly on the bottom slopes. When Bobbi gets back tonight, I will ask him how the slopes were as the day progressed as he's been up the top all day.

Morning Kas - gutted that I never met up with you last week. Got back late Saturday after a bril weeks skiing. First ski trip and what a great place Borovets was. Visited Titanic on a few occassions but you remained some what elusive. Still always next year ! Thanks for all your updates prior to coming out. Hope there is snow left for those going out over the next few weeks. It was very warm on Friday and Saturday.re: BORO UPDATE - 22ND FEB
Sorry - we were really busy last week as we had friends here, so we were in different bars each night and then spent all the weekend celebrating my birthday.
We did do the 'forum meet' in Titanic last night and we got to 62 people - a serious record!! Place was packed! We left at 11 as was still recovering from a week of partying and a serious birthday hangover from Friday, but I imagine the rest just partied on and on and on....!!
