Morning All,
I am sure you can all tell that I stayed home last night as the updates are always just after the lifts open!! After a night out with people on here, they always seem to be slightly delayed....
No change in lift / piste conditions this morning. Weather slightly different - blue skies in resort, but misty / cloudy at the very top, although gondola / runs all open up there except Marky 3. It is cold again - circa -6, but supposed to get warmer later. Forecast has now ...

It is cold again - circa -6, but supposed to get warmer later. Forecast has now changed for lots of snow on Saturday and Sunday but you never know!
So, in terms of runs etc, have just copied and paste from yesterday as there is only 1 small difference and that is that the Sitnyakovo Express is currently in 'good conditions' rather than poor due to being pisted etc last night. This may change later though once it has been used quite a lot and if the temps increase.
Yastrebets 1, 2 and 3 open - EXCELLENT CONDITIONS on all 3 slopes
Gondola open and run down to Yastrebets - GOOD conditions - rocky in places, so take care.
Nursery at top of gondola is open - EXCELLENT CONDITIONS
Markudjik 1, 2a and 2b are open, 3 is still shut - EXCELLENT CONDITIONS in some places, but rocky / turfy in others, so again, take care.
MUSSALA PATHWAY - open - EXCELLENT CONDITIONS at top, towards the bottom, conditions are a bit rocky, so again, take care or get up there first thing!! Also, if yesterday is anything to go by, it will be very busy.
Rila, iglika and yanakiev (Rotata) drags open - VERY GOOD CONDITIONS
Martinovi 1, 2 and 3 are open- VERY GOOD CONDITIONS BUT A FEW ROCKY PATCHES
Sitnyakovo Express - open - BETTER CONDITIONS THAN YESTERDAY.

Thanks Kas, been sat here since 5am waiting for update - not really, just trying to tie loose ends up at work before saturday (does focus your mind these holiday thingys!)

just thought i would return the favour by giving you a snow reprt from scotland.heavy fall of fresh fluffy snow 15cm at the top of th hill 3/4/cm in the town .
all runs open clear blue skis -1 no wind chill .hope it clears a bit driving to manchester tomorrow.

See you Sunday and see updated report for today...Markudjik slopes closed but that's due to the mist / wind rather than the level of snow. You can't see anything from the top of the gondola , not even the nursery slope, so they had to close it due to safety...as soon as weather clears up (and you can see a couple of feet in front of you!) they will re-open. Maybe we should all head to Scotland....!

Head for Bansko, all runs with good cover, no rocks or bare patches including full length of ski road. Off-piste getting heavy and crusty on right of mountain but still skiing well in Tordorka bowl and into trees. Champayne bowl untried so cannot report, but looks well tracked, so assuming skiing well...Beautiful sunny day again, getting a bit crowded with Romanians as its their holiday week... but overall, fantastic...
