BORO UPDATE - 4TH FEB

Morning,

Well, gondola is shut today due to high winds so all of the Markudjik slopes are closed. This is less of an issue for a number of tourists as there are a lot of transfers today BUT as there are lots of locals already over here, it does mean the Rila / Yastrebets slopes are expected to be very crowded.

A bit warmer today than it has been and it snowed in the night, although not as heavily as the reports from Pamps.

Yastrebets / Rila and Sitnyakovo slopes are all still in excellent condition, although they were all a bit icy at 8.30 this morning when we got the info. Still quite windy and obviously Harima and Fon Fon (although plenty of snow) are shut due to the gondola only being open to the half-way stage.

Still great snow for those arriving today / tomoz...

Kas

I know you don't do forecasts but rumours of it being seriously cold at end of next week. I'm sure Mark IOW can update, but is that what the locals are saying too? More thermals and rakia required I think!

See you next week.
