re: BOROVETS 16th feb - 23rd feb

There's me thinking us and Olly would have the slopes to ourselves.......never mind looks like the Lion will be quiet then!!???? Predicting that my skiing will be less than outstanding, so at least I can get lost in the crowds, although my fab flowerey salopettes might give me away (TOG 24, couldn't resist!!) Very Happy

Getting busier by the posting! 15 of us (last count) going on 16th from Gatwick and staying at the Flora. First time for us at the Flora but had great reports from others last year so giving it a try.

Were you with Rado last year? If so, see you there and let's get the timing right this year!

Hi all
I thought it was about time I threw my hat in the ring for this week. I'm also will be staying at the Lion with my two girls aged 12 and 14.
I will be looking out for Pam's fab flowerey salopettes in the hotel. Unfortunately I don't have such an distinctive garment to identify me!

Only problem for me is that following last year when I was in 'the worried mums group' (daughters name not mine) I have been on the dry slope lots but dont know if I will be brave enough to fly down on real snow!
Cant persuade other 1/2 to try this new sport but success last night cos he actually came to the dry slope for a beer!

I'm sure we'll see you. We are going along with Mark and his family again this year who we met in our group. Staying in the Flora as the Wigan/Bolton lot from last year recommended it.

See you soon. Chris.

'Move Over on the slopes' i like the idea of move over at the bar as well!
Real snow is so much more forgiving the dry slope skiing, your love it. As for persuading other to come is I'm afraid skiing is a bit like marmite. You ethier love it of hate it.
Myself I can't get enough of the stuff, skiing that is!
The guy who went the the dry slope for a beer, sounds like natural to me.
