I have to say, I hate writing these posts now however it's best everyone knows the real situation!
There is still the same amount open as my last post and no snow yet - we will probably get it in the summer!!
The Rila runs are still skiing ok however the bottom slopes are crowded, even though the resort is so quiet, due to the fact that there are limited runs to ski on. From about now (lunchtime) the ice starts to come through in the middle with it being lumpy / powdery at the sides ...

Yastrebets is still skiing well but the advice is still to try and go first thing when the conditions are at their best.
Night-skiing is still good so the best recommendations are ski in the morning (morning pass only) and then also get night ski passes - this only works out 7lev more than a full day pass and has better skiing options. As before, if your only purpose is to ski from 8.30 - 4.30 every day then you may want to consider postponing or looking elsewhere - better that than come and go away with bad feeling!
All I can say is, there is not enough dancing going on!
Do you know how much snow is needed to open all the runs? We are coming on the 8th Feb and have been contemplating changing the dates to later in the month but accuweather says there will be snow at the beginning of Feb.
Thanks for the updates, I know how you don't like being the bearer of bad news but it's more important people get an honest assessment of the resort as it stands.
Good advice on the lift pass too, that may not have occurred to some people:

See you 1st Feb ...

See you 1st Feb for 10 days with Dan and Tony and 22nd Feb with another larger group.
