Evening!

I have been getting so many PM's about snow, conditions, forecasts etc and people asking me if they should cancel their New Years holidays... as always, I really can't make that decision for any of you, all I can do is provide upto date resort information both from living in the resort and also due to the many contacts Bobby has at the end of the phone even if they are on the night shift at the top of the mountain.

So...here goes the reality: Temps have been too high again this last week to get cannons back on and also it has been raining very heavily in Borovets tonight and no snow higher up. Forecasts for this week have changed again - it was supposed to be very cold and snowy (starting at the weekend) but remember a lot of resort forecasts are sponsored etc etc

There has been more snow in the Black Sea area than here and also you need to remember that Borovets is a totally different climate / location and it can be misty here, yet snowy down the road in Samokov. It is not all doom and gloom, temps and snow are forecast at the end of the week, beginning of next BUT again, this can change. It is also however, very early in the season and there is lots of time yet. Whatever happens we will be here to keep you continually updated with the real resort conditions as they happen.

I really hate this part of our work BUT it is better you know the situation...
