Guys,
Sorry for lack of posting / updates for a week, was back in the UK working and then had a couple of days off / away from the laptop!
Not sure if anyone else has been updating you, but the conditions are excellent in the resort. There are just a couple of runs closed - 1 of them, marky 3, has been closed all season, but if you ski across marky 2b, followed by a little bit of off-piste, you can still get to it!
In short, today is beautiful blue skies and the fresh snow ...

In short, today is beautiful blue skies and the fresh snow yesterday (about 7cm) has made for perfect conditions today.
On the Rila side:
All runs except the black and Sintyakovo 2 are open - conditions are very good, although they are expecting George's run (express) to get a bit slushy as the day goes on.
Gondola side:
Recommended everyone goes up here rather than Rila as conditions are excellent. Snow on the Markudjik side is better than it has been all season and Mussala pathway still very good.
On the yastrebets side, skiing is excellent for both on and off-piste skiing.
We may go up this afternoon, or we may go out on the mountain bikes as down in samokov, the weather is already beautiful, but either way, will keep you updated! And for anyone coming out this weekend, don't panic! There is enough snow for another week!

I have looked to your posts all winter, even though we are not coming over till next year! (actually it was a choice between this week and next year- hope i chose well given the current conditions!)Thanks!
