Hi All,

Ok, over my grumpy mood now as have now got tablets etc so feel like I am getting better even if it's not working yet! Sorry for being a miserable XXX yesterday in my posts!

So, moving on a quick but late report, but all the same slopes were open as per a couple of days ago. Also, there was 2cm of fresh snow up the top last night, which didn't allow for anything else to open, but just helped the conditions a bit. On local radio, snow is forecast for tomorrow and Saturday - again, only 2cm in total and won't help in opening up anything new, but should help longevity of the runs that are open. So:

Suhar (top of gondola) - good conditions today, a bit icy at first, but by mid morning, very good, icy again towards the end of the day.

Sitnyakovo - getting patchy & bumpy, but should last another few days without extra snow as they are not pisting it on purpose

Martinovi (Rila red runs) - these are still in pretyy good condition but quite hard and quite icy

Martinovi (Rila blue run) - skiing okish BUT if you do this run, you have to take off your ski's off aboout half way down, walk some it until you get back to Martinovi 3

Yastrebets - still skiing well, but today for the first time, the top part of Yastrebets was pure ice.

In terms of cannons, they haven't been back on as last night temps got to -2, not -4.

Ian - If you do go in, I doubt I will be there, so make sure you get your discount!

Steven - the cannons are on the Martinovi, 1 2 and 3 (top of the 4 man chair) and the snow is good BUT, if you stay on 1 (Blue), you then get to the point where it hits the black run or you have to link back onto Sitnyakovo Pathway. So...basically, the Borosport site says this blue is open, but when you get to the end there is nowhere to go except walk. They have put a closed sign on there (where martinovi 2 starts) but people who go up expecting to ski a blue, then have to run off onto Martinovi reds 2 or 3 or keep going to the end and then walk. Bobby had to walk this with his class today as none of them were brave enough to do the red....


Does that make sense?
