Just a quick note to all that are on their way to Borovets soon ! Back two days and wish I could have another couple of days on the slopes. The best place that we found for food in the resort was definitely FRANCOS PIZZA - 2 mins walk from the Rila - excellent food and lovely staff - say hello to Tommy - he looks like a stereotypical Bond villain with his newly bleach blonde hair ! Pissed up Karaoke in the BLACK TIGER is a bit of a laugh too but probably only if your group is large enough ...

AND FINALLY - DON'T GET CAUGHT GOING THROUGH PLOVDIV AIRPORT WITH MORE THAN 200 CIGARETTES PER PERSON - EVEN IF THEY ARE DUTY PAID (WITH CUSTOMS STAMP ON THEM) BECAUSE THE CUSTOMS IN THE AIRPORT ARE SCANNING BAGS AND ARE CONFISCATING CIGARETTES AND ONLY ALLOWING PEOPLE TO LEAVE WITH 200 CIGARETTES. IF YOU'RE GOING TO STOCK UP YOU NEED TO DO IT IN THE DUTY FREE THE OTHER SIDE OF CUSTOMS IN THE AIRPORT !!

So Simon,the question is what is for you good eating...
The best bulgarian food you got in the restaurant of the hotel Victoria in the Tavern and in the Restaurant Shushuliga, but only a small number of you saw this restaurant, because it is situated in the older part of Borovez, and to tell the best eating you get in a pizzaria???? So sorry you make a romantic date for a good diner in a pizzaria???

Try the Bulgarian Dish, but watch out for their nasty dog. Their cat is more friendly. (They're the pets, not the food.)re: BOROVETS EATS !

So thanks Simon, but why don't you learn my language or another one may be russian or bulgarian.....So may be you can live with my poor english or learn your self some more languages and then you can joke about anybody.
