BOROVETS OR ANDORRA

BEEN TO BOROVETS AND STAYED IN THE RILA FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS NOW AND IT`S BEEN BRILLIANT, BUT THIS SEASON WE`RE OFF TO ANDORRA IN PAS-DE-LA-CASA... CAN ANYONE GIVE ME THERE VIEWS ON THIS RESORT SKIING/NIGHTLIFE/PRICES COMPARED TO BOROVETS OR HAVE WE MADE A MISTAKE THIS YEAR..... THANX

yes you have mad a mistake in my opinion. Skied there four years ago. That was before i discovered Bulgaria. Cost of holiday is probably a little more than bulgaria, but as you already know, spending money goes considerably further in bulgaria. Your looking at 5 euro a pint minimum, average snack/lunch i.e burger and chips with drink around 10 euro plus.

I wish you well and if you have a good party going you'll still have a great time but i would estimate at aprox £ 500 more

I done Arinsal a few years ago. It was ok nice hotel but I would agree with Mr walloper above. Lack of on slope places to eat with any charm or cafeteria style eating with no local food. Ugly resorts as well. Would I go back? probably not.

Tried Andorra 4 years ago - hated it.

No decent nightlife, slopes very boring, and ski school a shambles.

Never again.

ive never been but friends of mine have and realy didnt like it said they would never go back, although i do believe it has changed since they went and all the resorts are now liked, but due to their experience i have been put off, been put off switzaland as well

the shops as in gear and goodies all shut up about 8pm

Been to Andorra many time... avoid staying in Pas del la Casa... stay in Soldeu or El Tarter. Pas is a French orientated concrete ski resort, Soldeu is large hotels in Alpine style, El Tarter is smaller village and more family orientated.

Back to El Tarter for us in Feb, back to Bansko at Easter
