BOROVETS VISIT

dEAR All,

i will visit borovets on 19DEC to 23 DEC how will be the snow conditions around these days, and will be the gondoles/slopes operated on these days??

I was there last year from 23rd dec for a week. one ruined snowboard later, because there was not enough snow!
got told that it was the first year it had been so lacking in snow tho!

yeah matt, i was in BANSKO, the same story , but this year i hope there will be more snow, do you know when chair lifts will open the season?

usually all running first sat before Xmas, but some tend to be running a bit before as well. Depends on the conditions and the new snow cannons up top

blimey didnt count them, they are covering down to middle station of gondola, with the intention of extending the season both early and late

Last year was a slow start from the whole of europe, i went for new year in les deux alps and there wasnt enough snow.
There are a few good runs in borovets at the top and also down to the middle gondola station these should all have enough snow on for the 23 of december as the weather forcast year predicts amazing snow conditions this year. il be there at new year so fingers crossed
