What an awsome opening ceromony to the Olympic Games

That flame lighting must have been one of the most spectacular ever, and certainly brought a tear to my eye

Good luck to ALL taking part, and lets look forward to a feast of watching OUR sport at it's very, very best.

I agree I thought that Torino did the Olympic spirit, their city and the Italian people proud. Pity the BBC commentators could not mention about the great Alberto Tomba, that there is a Bansko ski run named after him.

I know 3 of the lads curling-infact I used to beat them regularily at junior level! Good old Lockerbie- 3 Olympic athletes and its tiny!
