...''Few years ago Bulgaria had very beautiful nature ,virgin green forests and very attractive coast line. Bansko was quite and provintial town with old houses winding streets and Mehanas where few who knew the place had a perfect rest after skiing on the only one ski run built in 1982.In recent years in the same place started barbaric building work in all directions the same as on the coast line. And the result is :-the whole plain around Bansko is concreted with hundreds of hotels built very quickly and to very low standard and placed literally only few meters from each other with the only reason –very fast buck.
In the town of Bansko the drinking water is deteriorating fast.the consumption for it is massive.the quality of the in the past very good water is worsening monthly.The traditional welcome which was experience for years in this region has disappeared .Everything is turning around only about sucking the money out of the stupid foreign tourist.Soon all of the valley around Bansko together with Dobrinishte and Raslog will transform into CONCRETE JUNGLE.In this atmosphearthe locals want to cancel the status of mountain Pirin as a nature reserve so they can pour into more concrete.in the mountain there is a massive business of cutting the trees .trees which have stood for thousands of years are going into wood material –this makes the soil unstable and the avalanches are forming more frequently .THE VIRUS OF BANSKO is spreading around the villages around and towns up and down around Bulgaria at the foots of mountains where the business wait to fill their pockets at the expence of the nature.
Because of all this –lets all of us have to help the nature to survive.
Please don’t go to Bulgaria!ski and swim where the people are clever and take good care of their Nature!...''
