Going to Pamps on the 25th, can anybody recommend a good set of intermediate ski boots at a reasonable price and the best place to buy some from in Pamps or should i buy from the UK.
Looks like loads of snow.. Cant wait !!!
There is a very good shop in Forest Hill SE London that has a sale on at the moment. Do try to get boots that are moulded to your feet. It should take a good hour to 2 hours to getting fitted out!
there is one large shop in the underground passage of the Murgavets and the Perelik, not sure the name but its the biggest one, they sell a load of different ones, only problem is its near the end of the season and they may have not got all the sizes in stock.
or there is the Rossignol shop opposite - feel sure you will get a better deal out in Pamps.
no point really advising on the best type of boot, as they all fit the individual differently what may be good for one is not for another, ...

before you wear them on the slopes be sure to walk around the room in them for about an hour. also if the boots fit well you do not need thick socks just cotton ones are fine, or thin ski socks.
hope this helps - the choice in Pamps seems much better than in the shops in the UK
i bought in bansko last week my boots were the heat fit ones but they didnt do it. although when they only cost £70 didnt have a problem, they were realy comfortable any way, but they had limited stock and only a few sizes. if your not that bothered if you come back with a pair take the chance, you will get a good deal, if you want them to ski in this season I would buy them here just in case. the boot bags were very cheap only cost about £10.
I would still buy out there and get them heat fitted in the UK when you get back - you will manage for one week without the heat fitting, and get them done for next time
we live in brum we got ours from decalthlon in merry hell
in the sale but that was in feb also had very good advice from skiforce in litchfield the guy there was helpfull and said they have sale soon that was a couple weeks ago try giving them a ring
hope this helps ric
