Hi we are travelling out to Borovets on the 29th, my daughter who is 10 months old will be coming.Does anybody know wether the Restaurants on the slopes have high chairs.
Any other information regarding Baby's in Borovets would be greatly received.

doubt it. not many of the restaurants do. They are not brilliantly catered for in boro.Don't own one myself so never really put the place to the test. Sorry

Just got back from Borovets with my nephew (12 months). Bad news is that they don't seem to have babies in Bulgaria!! The only place we found a high chair was at the Taj Mahal Indian restaurant. All other times he had to eat in his buggy which wasn't ideal. Having said that he always had a warm welcome from everybody. He loved to go swimming in the afternoons & went to the Rila pool for 5 levs which included a locker and towels. We were staying at the Bor so if you are already staying at the ...

We were staying at the Bor so if you are already staying at the Rila you probably don't have to pay. Main pool quite cool but smaller pools warmer.

Forgot to say that it was difficult to find any nappies to buy so make sure you pack enough!!re: Baby
the bigger hotel restaraunts have high chairs, but I've never seen any up the mountain.How exactly were you planning to get your baby up the mountain by the way?
I'm not sure the lifts are designed for them....?

One assumes the Gondola as in most resorts will cater for Non ski passengers that can join their skiing pals on the mountain! Is this not the case in Borovets?Otherwise I will tie the pushchair to a drag lift!

Just got back from Borovets and we had a year old baby with us too. There are high chairs in the Rila restaurant, did not see any elsewhere but suggest you get a Timy folding one that straps to any diningroom chair, easy enough to carry with you if it is important to you. Only way to get baby up to the top of the slopes is on the Gondola........not much point as there is nothing to do up there for him/her and the restaurant is much more expensive than in Borovets. We bought a sled/sleigh ...

Also much easier to transport the little one on, pram wheels get bogged down in slush!
The bottled water there is also very high in Sodium so you may want to take a few litres of Evian with you.
There were lots of kiddies about when we visited last week, babies and toddlers too and the Rila has a creche for the tiny ones too but am not sure how good it is.
