Back Country

Hi there. I'm heading out to Pamps January 6th. I was wondering if anyone had done any back country boarding there? Do they offer any lessons in freestyle boarding? Do the offer trips to Chepelare for the day? Also looking for some buddies to tag onto as I am going out on my own 3rd year on my own but a bit nervous about it this year for some reason. I'm staying in the Panorama. Does anyone know what it is like?

Cheers

Sammy

That would be wicked though I don't want to go out the way I usually come back! lol.
Where you from? Do you ever go to MK Snowdome?

re: Back Country

Don't worry - I'm not a big fan of being smashed on planes but a few beers before takeoff is part of the fun I reckon! I'm from Brighton and, no, I've never been to MK Snowdome. I'm doing lessons in Pamps as, apart from a few dry slope lessons and half a day on a nursery slope in Austria last year I'm a complete beginner. Can't believe its less than five weeks away - been counting the days since August!

re: Back Country

Lol. No danger. Its a shame you are so far away we could have had a preholiday session at MK. I'm in Newmarket but Scottish. I usually go out late Feb begining of March and conditions have been great the teaching isn't bad either. I've been counting since I got back late march last year very sad. I can try and help if you want. though no promises.

re: Back Country

Good of you to offer. A lot is going to depend on how quickly I progress. My main reason for skiing lessons is so I don't end up being the slow bloke who keeps falling over when I go on holiday with my mates! I know a lot of people don't always finish their lessons as by day 4-5 they feel ok going off on their own. Hope I'm one of them..............!

re: Back Country

yeah last year we had a mixed bag in out lessons and people who we got friendly with some beginners and by the end of the week they were shaping up well just by joining us and pushing themselves.
