Afternoon all

Got back from Borovets on Saturday 26/02/2011.

Firstly I'd like to sa thanks to everyone on here for all your help and info.

Secondly sorry we didn't get to the black tiger on the 20th for the meet. Our little one still thought it was 5pm and decided to have a sleep. Later on in the holiday we realised we could have just chucked her in the pushchair and come accross.

We stayed in a studio at the Rila. Checkin was nice and quick.

Got to our room. Was little dated but nothing really to moan about. Lots of room for our 2 boards and a cot of a 1 year old. The view of the slopes from our balcony was awesome. You get a bit of noise from the bars but nothing I would complain about.

The food at the hotel was nice there was plenty of choice. The waiters were all really friendly to us, one this to look out for is one of them over changed us for our drinks, they were still cheap enough. The waiter had short hair, stocky with squinty eyes, so keep an eye out for him.

The swimming pool was warm enough but not if you had been in the jacuzzi 1st One thing to watch out for is the floor is realy slippy.

The Creche was brilliant. Our little girl loved it during the day. The Lady Annie that woks there is really nice, told us what she had to eat for lunch everyday and if she had had a poo or not :S

The slopes were in pretty good condition considering. We managed to board everyday. Even managed to get down the Musala Pathway. Spent alot of time on the Rila side using the Sitnyakovo Express. We also used the baraki lift a bit, Be warned this lift picks you up quite violently and whenyou get off you need to be a bit quick saw lots of people falling at the top. My wife really hurt herself on this on the last day.

We went to the top of the Gondola quite a few times aswell. Had lunch a couple of times in the Whitehouse. Really nice grub and everyone was friendly. We did see Kas & Bobby, we didn't say hello to you guys as it was really busy in there and didn't want to get in the way. Deffinatly have a chat with you next time we come.

We had a lovely meal in the Black tiger on the jump night. We really liked the tiger. It was our meet place if anyone got split up etc. The hot chocolate outside is the best.

All in all we had a fantasitc time and are deffiniatly going to come back to borovets next time.

I would deffinatly recommend the Rila, especially if you need a hotel with a creche.
