I'll keep it brief, since YT's essay has said just about everything.. Just wanted to say I had a fantastic time - stayed at Hotel Bansko, no complaints - plenty of eating out alternatives for the fussy... Thought 3 leva for a beer was cheap until discovered local shops sell for 0.45 ! Actual resort area excellent - brand new Austrian lifts, pistes pretty well groomed, nice runs through the trees. Spoke to a guy who said some green runs will be added for next season, so beginners shouldn't be ...

Spoke to a guy who said some green runs will be added for next season, so beginners shouldn't be deterred. Although come to think of it, the fewer of you go there, the happier I'll be... Still had good snow last week, though we were hearing that Boro & Pamps were slush & mud (may have been exaggerated?)
And if anyone was on the Tomba on Friday afternoon and saw 2 boarders and a skier descending in Hotel Bansko bathrobes, that was me and 2 blokes from Livingston

By the end of last week it was a brown run
like you get at Glenshee...But more snow cannons are going to be installed, apparently.
